As everybody knows, the file permissions codes in Unix corresponds to who can read, write, or execute a file. For example, 777 means that just about anybody who cares to can read, write, and execute. I think they should invent a new series of what I like to call 'goddamn useless' codes, such as 808, 'readable and executable by furniture' and 007, 'executably by Bond'. And quite possibly 452235, 'readable, writable and executable only by computers in movies, the kind that look like normal laptops but contain more computing power than currently exists on earth'. |
